UNDERFLOOR HEATING

Underfloor heating - electric underfloor heating

The underfloor heating warms you up with less energy than regular heating.

Underfloor heating makes your home cosy even when you have to deal with the freezing cold winter. With underfloor heating you can cosily lie on the floor and watch tv from there, the kids won't get cold playing on the floor and the floor will even be the most comfortable place for your dog. When you're watching TV or reading in your armchair, the underfloor heating will feel beautifully warm. You won't need to cover your feet to stop them getting cold. It will feel as if you're being heated by a log-fire at home. It warms the room fast. It's also clean and efficient energy.

The electric underfloor heating won't stir up dust in the room. It's a clean method of heating. There won't be any part of your home where you're cold as it evenly warms up all parts of your home, even in the corners. And the air will be dust free.

Underfloor heating - installation of the electric underfloor heating in 1 day

The electric underfloor heating can be installed in a newly built flat or house as well as older properties.
It's inexpensive, fast and safe. You won't have workers in your flat for 2 weeks installing it. The underfloor heating can be fitted in 1-2 days; they come in the morning and you can enjoy its nice warmth under your feet that evening or the next day.
Additionally the electric underfloor heating can be installed under any kind of floor!
It can be fitted under concrete, wood, tiles, ceramics, wall to wall carpet, laminated parquet and linoleum.

As underfloor heating provides an even temperature, the feeling of warmth is fuller, requiring less energy. This means you can set the temperature lower. Thus your lowering your heating bill.

With regular heating, everyone has experienced that while the temperature feels good at the height of one's head, at the waist and legs it feels colder and it feels cold under the feet.
Underfloor heating does the opposite. It'll feel nice and warm under your feet, your legs and middle won't get cold and the temperature will be just right for your face and ears.

Underfloor heating will give you a cosy warmth on the floor and it is quick and easy to install.

Regular heating vs. underfloor heating

Why does underfloor heating give warmth better than regular heating?
Why is underfloor heating healthier than regular heating?
See picture below for illustration. While regular heating systems circulate air from the bottom up, it makes the top of the room warm and the bottom cold. Underfloor heating warms the room from the bottom up, so it's cosy and warm at the legs, your top half is nicely warmed and you feel a comfortable temperature at the head.

Underfloor heating is the inexpensive and healthier solution. Regular heating solutions create different temperatures in various points of the room; they need to heat the space more intensely so they increase your heating bill!

The benefits of underfloor heating are
• The distribution of heat is even, there won't be any cold corners and the warm floor feels cosy for all the family.
• It provides a consistent warmth for the whole day for everyone at home.
• The temperature can be adjusted separately for each space. It can be operated for free - without heating costs when using a solar panel system.
• It won't stir up dust in the flat,
• Its installation is fast and simple and it could be completed in 1 day.

The disadvantages of regular heating (using radiators, convectors or furnaces):
• It maintains a continuous air current in the room that stirs up dust.
• It creates different temperatures in various points of the space; there are cold corners in the flat.
• There is a big difference in the speed of heating. A modern, well planned underfloor heating can warm up the whole room in 40 minutes to 1 hour while older, outdated heating solutions (furnaces, radiators, convectors) need much more time
• A common complaint about these heating methods is it's warmer at the top of the room and you still get cold at the legs and waist because regular heating stirs the air upwards. Because of their operating principle, above these heating devices (furnaces, radiators, convectors) warm air flows upwards so in the space you actually use you can only reach a temperature of 18-20 degrees when it's actually 26 degrees at the ceiling!

It's far lower than installing regular heating methods. Any electrician can have your cosy infrared heating ready in 1-2 days.
